The Electrical Installation Certificate is used to certify that the design, construction and testing of the electrical installation is all in line with the British Standard BS 7671.

Electrical Installation Certificates are either for an alteration/ addition to an existing installation (where new circuits have been installed), or for entirely new electrical installations. They can be for either Commercial or Domestic properties.
